What does the inspected Farm Field actually produce?

The visible panel lists $75 income per pay cycle. It does not list a food output or crop quantity. The official description names farms as a building family, but that does not make every farm a food producer. Keep the named Farm Field’s output separate from an assumed agriculture recipe.

What does the recorded arithmetic tell you?

The listed income-minus-upkeep margin is 75 − 2 = $73 per pay cycle. The construction quote is $600. Dividing 600 by 73 gives about 8.22 cycles to recover the quoted cost only in a simplified panel model. That estimate ignores utility setup, any changing income, construction time and other city costs; it is not a tested payback time.

What should be checked before repeating a field?

Read the exact selected farm name and its water requirement. Reserve money for the water support rather than buying a whole block first. Inspect the finances panel after a completed purchase to distinguish the field’s listed income from the city’s net payout. If your current farm shows a different resource output, use that current recipe in the production planner rather than copying this income example.
