Build and Conquer Missile Range and Cooldown: The Volley Wait

The October 15 HUD shows a 20-second wait before another 100 projectiles. Separate this from range, reload and research time.

Which waiting rule is printed on the HUD?

At 3:38 in YellowHeadVin’s October 15 recording, the launch HUD instructs the player to wait 20 seconds before launching another 100 projectiles. This is direct interface evidence for that recorded build. The nearby airborne count shows a separate inventory/flight state; it is not the number of remaining seconds.

HUD message says wait 20 seconds before another 100 projectiles; distinct from individual reload, flight and research.

Which timers should you keep separate?

Clock What it describes Evidence scope
Research duration Unlocking a technology The selected research node
Manufacturing duration Creating a product The named product recipe
Volley waiting Permission for another batch launch The October 15 HUD message
Flight duration Time from launch to arrival A particular launch and path
Reload time Preparing a launcher/interceptor again No general verified table here

The Shahed-236 research record has a 14-minute x1 research duration and a separate 28-second manufacturing duration. Neither substitutes for the 20-second volley message. A historical October 3 notice reproduced in an October 5 video mentions 0.1 seconds between launches; that older within-launch spacing claim is not an alternative current batch cooldown.

What should you do when another launch is unavailable?

Read the actual message first. If the volley wait is shown, allow the named interval and recheck the interface. If the selected munition has no ready stock, inspect its manufacturing and launcher state instead. A larger ready inventory does not remove a time-based restriction. Record the selected weapon and exact message when comparing two attempts.

The creator also discusses a supposed workaround using differently sized batches. His edited sequence does not establish that the attempts occurred inside the printed wait, so this page does not label it a confirmed bypass or recommend it.

Are numeric firing ranges verified?

No numeric per-model range table has been established by the inspected frames. A camera travelling across the map, a research duration and a real-world missile designation are not range measurements. Use the current game’s target-validity response; this reference records the verified waiting rule and leaves unmeasured ranges unknown.
